Hello!
I am thrilled to tell you about my podcast, in MY heart which I started up and started recording pre-covid 2020. Though we started in the studio, we quickly became a zoom interview podcast, as did many others. And, with the pandemic we also never officially announced it. I am proud of the work my team and I have done. We covered a lot of territory, switching up formats and finding our groove bringing to you the content I wanted to share. So, in kicking off 2021, I want to officially announce in MY heart and, give you some background as to its beginnings and my passion for connecting with you.
As many of you know, many hats fit my head from inventor, fashion designer to entrepreneur, nutrition coach and natural beauty spokesperson. I love to train and climb the highest mountains. I am a mom and a wife and, many of you know me from The Real Housewives of NYC. I am truly passionate about so many things, which keeps me busy and always curious. I always want to learn more, grow more, I am goal oriented by nature and I don’t quit when I have one. I work hard to live my life fearlessly and to follow the destiny, I believe is laid out for me, if I want to see and embrace it. I get many questions here, at heatherthomson.com and on social media, from young entrepreneurs, women and folks that want to know more too. IT could be a question about my marriage and my thoughts on relationships, or folks looking for guidance toward better health and wellness or asking for my beauty suggestions, and guess what? I have a lot of answers, but I have a lot of questions, about so many things, too! From cbd based beauty, to how to keep my aging body in peak condition, electronics used by my kids, and on, and on. So, I thought it was time for me to create a true platform to interact with my audience, to gain new friends, and share old friends and our journey through this thing called life. No matter how tough the times, or how great the times, through it all, I am learning the importance to listen more intently to myself and to others and it was time to get into a regular dialogue with you and my guests, to learn from together, get motivated by together, support each other, inspire, conquer crazy parts of life, and celebrate great and small achievements along the way, together.
Radio or a podcast was the way to go and in sharing my visions with my friend and cheerleader, Andy Cohen he agreed! He connected me with Embassy Row, who also produces WWHL, it was perfectly timed ,as ER were just starting a podcast division, and it was a great match between us and so, in MY heart was born. I've had amazing guests, from the beautiful Tina Knowles, Andy Cohen himself, O Magazine Creative Director, Adam Glassman, Bevy Smith, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, make-up royalty, Bobbi Brown, Juhi Singh (owner of a holistic and Ayurvedic center in NYC) and so many more! You can listen to all the archived interviews on Apple and Spotify and I hope you will! And, we launch new episodes every Tuesday.
